An international team of researchers develops a novel mathematical model that alows gliders to reach unprecedented speeds.

The international team, which was led by researchers from the ULPGC, applies for the first time a mathematical model used in Astrodynamics to ensure that the unmanned minisubmarines (gliders) cross the North Atlantic in record time and with the minimum energy consumption.
