The ENDESA-RED Chair awards a prize for the best doctoral thesis read during the 2012-2013 academic year. Juan I. González
On 1st January last, the tribunal designated by the ENDESA-RED Chair of the ULPGC agreed to award the prize of 2,400.00 € for the best doctoral thesis read during the 2012-2013 academic year to Mr. Felipe Díaz Reyes, for his thesis, titled Modelo Numérico para la Generación de Mapas de Radiación Solar y su Aplicación al Aprovechamiento de Energía Solar Fotovoltaica y Termoeléctrica (Numerical Model for the Generation of Solar Radiation Maps and their Application to the Exploitation of Photovoltaic and Thermoelectric Solar Energy). Felipe Días Reyes is a member of the Advanced Numeric Algebra Division. This doctoral thesis has been directed by Mr. Gustavo Montero, Mr. Eduardo Rodríguez and Mr. Rafael Montenegro.
